Studio Seva Aerial Arts Rules and Policies

  1. Bring your own water bottle for hydration; no food or gum is allowed in the studio.

  2. Instructors have final say in all matters regarding safety.

  3. Studio Seva is not equipped to practice high level tricks. Please do not practice anything you have not learned at Studio Seva. No YouTube, Instagram, or outside learned content is permitted on our equipment.

  4. Follow all instructions provided by instructor. Your instructor will teach you according to your skill. If you practice a skill outside of your ability, you are considered a danger to yourself and other students, and will be asked to leave class.

  5. Students absolutely cannot teach other students.

  6. Return all equipment to the state in which you found it. If you move mats, move them back. Return all props to where they are stored.

  7. Tape over any cuts or abrasions, even if they seemed closed, to prevent bleeding on the equipment. If you do bleed on something, notify the lead instructor immediately.

  8. Treat the equipment as if it is your own. Carry mats instead of dragging them.

  9. Wear the proper clothing for training: no jewelry, zippers, snaps, or sharp embellishments.

  10. Wear deodorant! The gear will last longer if we all take care of it.

  11. Studio Seva reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will ask you to leave class if you are not following the studio rules and policies. If you are asked to leave class more than once, you will not be accepted back into class. Refunds will not be offered in this case.

  12. This can be a dangerous sport, please respect yourself, your fellow students, and your instructor, and follow all rules and policies. For everyone’s safety, be considerate, respectful, and supportive.

  13. Absolutely no competition; just come to have fun and work out!
