Ages 13 and up for YOga Classes

Class Descriptions: See our weekly schedule for class offerings

Yoga Classes

Chakra Flow:

A class designed to move the energy fluidly and balanced throughout the body. Stimulating and calming each chakra in order to find union and balance in the body and mind. Some classes might focus on one chakra or several.

Vinyasa Flow:

A balanced class moving the breath and body with a steady, but challenging, all levels pace. Linking your breath with your body creates a balanced Yoga flow that will strengthen muscles, stretch your body, and tune your nervous system. This is a dynamic style of Yoga with creative sequencing that can be physically challenging but rhythmically calming and balancing at the same time.

Hatha Yoga

A little slower, and more instructional, but can still be a flow with more yoga pose breakdown and details about body alignment and mechanics. This class is perfect for those first beginning a Yoga practice. You will learn traditional applications of yoga and be introduced to Yoga postures, pranayama, and meditation.

Restorative Yoga:

This class focuses on releasing tension, connecting with the breath, and helping students restore their bodies and minds. Restorative yoga uses props to provide each student with variations and modifications to accommodate all bodies. This is Yoga with a softer, nurturing approach. Practice relaxation, stretching, movement, and mindfulness in a safe and supportive environment.

Slow Flow:

Strengthening but slow pace, use strength to move rather than momentum, slow pace gives you time to move into the pose with a short hold before moving on to the next, great for newer students looking to still build some strength and heat.

Somatic Yoga:

Tune in to your body and enjoy freedom of movement. This class will use stretches, props, breathing exercises, Yoga postures, and creative methods of movement to tune up your nervous system and musculoskeletal system for immune and respiratory health. This class is your time to explore your body, movement, your mind and your Self.

Yoga Rope Wall:

This prop based class is perfect for those looking for a deep stretch and overall mobilization. Ropes rigged on the wall are used to help traction and stretch as well as offer balance and support to help make postures more approachable. This class will focus mostly on releasing tension and reducing pain, making it a somatic practice.

Special Instructions:

Online pre-registration and prepayment is required for this class.

Aerial Yoga:

Aerial Yoga is a hybrid of Yoga and Aerial Arts using a hammock to help deepen stretches, build strength, and open your mind to new ways of exercise movement. This class is the best way to prepare for more advanced Circus classes. We recommend this class to build strength in grip and core and increase mobility and range of motion in stretching. This is a challenging class, but your instructor will offer modifications to make your strengthening journey safe and enjoyable.

Special Instructions:

Online pre-registration and prepayment is required before attending.

What to Wear: Please wear long, close-fitting pants or leggings that cover the entire back of the knee. The midriff should be covered to protect the skin from the fabric. Ensure there are no zippers or buckles on clothing and prior to class please remove watches, bracelets, rings, and any hanging earrings.

YOga Sculpt:

A less traditional approach to Yoga; this class offers you a full body workout with light weights to assist your Power Yoga poses, stretches, moderate cardio movements, and Pilates inspired core work. This class will incorporate small hand weights and sometimes include ankle weights, resistance bands, and core balls. We will warm up with simple yoga stretches and work into core based movements to prepare your whole body for power building Yoga postures and Yoga inspired cardio movements.

Pilates Sculpt:

Tone and sculpt your entire body with Pilates Sculpt. This class will put a contemporary spin on the traditional Pilates method. You may use hand weights, resistance bands, balls and other props to pump up your Pilates workout! This class will focus on postural alignment, strengthening your spine and core muscles, and toning and stretching the whole body to support a strong and flexible spine.

Circus Classes

Included in Circus passes, packages, and Unlimited Yoga & Circus Membership

Aerial DAnce 101: Aerial Slings rigged at a lower height are used for this class

This class is a cross over between Aerial Yoga and Aerial arts. You will learn basic aerial dance skills in an aerial sling (Yoga hammock on a spinner) rigged at a height slightly higher than a Yoga hammock, but lower than a typical Aerial sling. This approach will help you to build arm and core strength, learn basic aerial cues and movements, and learn how to control your body while in the air. Having this basic aerial understanding as a stepping stone will mentally and physically prepare you for our all-levels Circus classes. Practice silks, lyra, loops, cloud swing, and other aerial apparatus with confidence and a strong beginning foundation.

Aerial Silks: our silks are rigged at 13 feet and are designed for aerial dance.

Learn fundamentals to build up to higher level skills. This class will be beginner friendly, and will focus on building solid fundamental skills on the Aerial Silks. The fundamentals are important in order to move on to more complex skills and shapes, such as dives, drops, and rolls. While this is all-levels and is beginner friendly, it is not aimed at beginners. If you are brand new to silks and would prefer to set up a private 101 session, visit our website and go to the personal training menu.

Aerial Hoop (Lyra): can be rigged at lower heights to accomodate beginners.

Learn under hoop, in the hoop, and top hoop skills and transitions to create a fun sequence of hoop dance. Learn skills of all levels and combos with or without a spin. This class is a fun dance class that will build strength and flexibility in the air.

Aerial Sling: rigged at approximately chest height on a single point spinner.

Learn how to create a spinning and fluid dance in the aerial sling with body rolls, dives, and drops sprinkled in for extra creative movement. This class is similar to Aerial Yoga, but the slings will spin and be rigged higher than our Aerial Yoga hammocks. If you are brand new to aerial arts, begin with a few Aerial Yoga classes or aerial silks classes, and then progress to the Aerial Sling. While this class is still beginner friendly, it will be a bit more challenging than our other circus classes.

Cloud Swing + aerial loops = conditioning class

You will practice on both loops and cloud swing in this class, taking skills from one to the other to build upper body strength and core strength.

The cloud swing is a rope apparatus hanging from the rigging point in a "V" shape. This is a fun, dynamic class that will incorporate mounts, rolls, and dynamic connections and dismounts.

This class is a great conditioning class for other aerial apparatus. You will build core and upper body strength required for inverts and advanced aerial skills on silks, hoop, and pole.

Aerial Pole + AErial Rope = vertical conditioning class

You will practice on both flying Chinese pole and aerial rope in this class, taking skills from one to the other to build upper body strength and core strength.

Learn aerial tricks and transitions on a non-fixed pole wrapped in rubber/silicone. The pole will be rigged just above the floor and will be flying and spinning. You will learn how to mount and dismount the pole safely and then progress to fun pole tricks from sits, inverts, and knee hangs to locks and drops. The poles will be wrapped in either rubber or silicone, so we recommend skin covering clothing, preferably some pants that won’t get pulled down, like stretchy jeans, and long sleeves that cover the arms and abdomen.

The aerial rope is a great conditioning apparatus for silks, but is a strong stand alone apparatus that can display your skills in inverting, rolls, dives, and wraps. You will begin with foot locks to get familiar with the rope movement and texture. Invert skills and climbing skills will get you up the rope to work more challenging skills such as dives and rolls with knee hooks and locks. The rope can be slightly painful, so wearing your aerial pole pants will work for both apparatus.

This is an all-levels class, and you can progress at your own pace and comfort level.
